DIY Tuesday - Earth Day Edition

This Thursday is Earth Day, and in honor of saving our planet, one plastic bottle at a time, I found these adorable DIY  decorations on the iDIY Blog

Aren't these plastic flowers gorgeous?  Look closer:

Yup, they are the bottoms of plastic botttles.  How cool is that?  Can you picture using cascades of these to decorate?  Or, if you're really creative, you could make one of these:

[or you could spend $12,000 for it at Neiman Marcus!)

Wouldn't this look gorgeous in the Brides a la mode studio?  (I think I'll start saving plastic bottles!)
